- Compensation: the minimum compensation for this position is $53,000
Job Category: Union Eligible- Program/Professional
Responsibilities include some or all of the following:
- Work closely with colleagues and Jewish communal partners to develop, present and/or facilitate education and support programming.
- Screen and connect individuals and families with appropriate resources.
- Provide timely and accurate data and other program information for evaluations and grant reporting.
- Represent JCFS and its programs in a positive manner to both internal and external contacts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work or related field with a minimum of two years of clinical experience.
- Extensive experience facilitating psychoeducational support groups.
- Strong in-person and online facilitation and presentation skills
- Knowledge of local and national mental health resources.
- Excellent organizational skills to ensure competing priorities are completed in a strategic manner.
- Skilled, sensitive engagement with individuals across the Jewish spectrum.
- Ability to travel to different locations, primarily on Chicago’s north side and north/northwest suburbs, required.
- Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
