Supply Chain Logistic Assistant Floater - Jewelry (1 Years Experience)

We’re a wholesaler and distributor in the Fine/Bridge Jewelry industry. We specialize in brand support under the top three United States-based television shopping channels with additional accounts in traditional retail and e-commerce. We have an opening for a Supply Chain Logistic Assistant position at our headquarters in New York City. Our ideal candidate is a self-directed, highly motivated individual looking to join a collaborative team and help us excel in this exciting industry while gaining significant cross-functional experience. This role includes (but is not limited to) the following core responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare labels, Master Carton labels, and all other material for pending orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers on shipments.
• Help QC and packing team with quality control on incoming shipments.
• Prepare outgoing shipments and submit shipment information using EDI, Oracle OTM, or Client Portal application to avoid chargebacks.
• Receive finished goods in RightClick inventory system.
• Communicate with Customers on logistic inquiries.
• Process RTV for Clients and Supplier.
• Prepare outgoing shipments for return and repair of goods to suppliers.
• Maintain and organize pending outgoing shipments.
• Office administration tasks and assist Managers with urgent and/or ad hoc projects.
• Help print packing slips for E-comm orders.
• Maintain and organize both Main and Web inventory.

Requirements for the position include:

• Minimum 1 year experience in logistics-related work experience.
• Experience in Wholesale inventory software (Rightclick preferred)
• BA or similar professional degree or certification preferred.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

• Technical proficiency including a basic understanding of Excel and the ability to learn new software.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong ability to work well in a group atmosphere and comply with high-quality standards.
• Strong ability to shift from one task to another to address changing priorities.
