Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry as a surveyor or in a similar position.
- Willing to train individuals with general construction experience.
- Familiarity with Trimble GPS equipment or equivalent devices.
- Plumbing experience is a significant plus.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translating Plans into Reality: Accurately translate construction plans into physical reference points on the ground, and be able to set benchmarks, GPS points, and control lines.
- Verifying Elevations and Grading: Measure and set correct elevations for sleeves and piping and ensure proper drainage.
- Identifying and Rectifying Discrepancies: Promptly address any discrepancies between contract drawings, coordination drawings through RFIs, and change orders.
- Plumbing Specific Tasks: Assist with plumbing-specific tasks, such as confirming sanitary waste line locations.
