What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Trainer - Bilingual position at JCO Workforce Solutions, LLC?
The Bilingual Orientation Instructor will provide site specific information and training around the security protocols and safety hazards associated with the specific job site.
They will provide new hire training in the following areas:
- General safety protocols (PPE, spacial awareness, risk recognition)
- Hazard communication
- Chemical hygiene plans & exposure response plans
- Site security protocols
- Emergency response plans
Candidates must be able to effectively communicate and deliver the prepared materials according to the site specific safety plan established by the site Safety Manager.
The right candidate will have:
- Effective communication; bilingual in English & Spanish is a requirement
- 2 years of classroom instruction experience
- OSHA 10 or higher safety certifications preferred
- Must be able to work Mon-Fri 5am - 2pm
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
The job duties will be performed in an indoor classroom setting situated on a large scale industrial / construction site.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
