Field Service Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high and low-voltage systems, HVAC/R, and mechanical knowledge. This role requires the ability to analyze schematics and utilize logic controllers effectively. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and fabricating equipment while ensuring optimal performance in various environments.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair high and low-voltage equipment and systems in the field.
• Analyze schematics to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Utilize ammeters and other diagnostic tools to assess system performance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
• Fabricate components as needed to support repair and maintenance tasks.
• Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients on-site.
• Document all service activities accurately for reporting purposes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in potentially hazardous environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in high and low-voltage systems and HVAC/R is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to analyze complex systems.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in field service work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics effectively.
• Experience in fabrication techniques is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interactions.
• Willingness to travel as required for on-site service calls.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
