JCPenney Warehouse - Forklift Driver (2nd Shift)

Where: 120 Penney Road, Forest Park, GA 30297
Pay: Starting at $18.50 (offering 2nd shift differential)

Schedule: 2nd shift 330pm-12am, Sun-Thurs beginning 1/21

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, including reach trucks, cherry pickers, and hi-lo's, to move and stack materials in a warehouse setting.
• Safely load and unload trucks and containers using forklifts.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and locate products
• Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and other team members to meet production goals.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

• Six months experience in the same or related tasks is preferable.
• Physical Essential Function (Lifting): Frequent 0 – 30lbs; Occasional 30 – 75lbs
• Familiarity with use of contemporary merchandise processing equipment (i.e. hand- held scanners)
• Familiarity with use of warehouse equipment and inventory systems.
• Requires the ability to understand and follow general and/or written instructions.
• Involves the use of elementary arithmetic.
• Ability to learn computer processing systems.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Ability to determine which prescribed steps to take to process problem cartons and to resolve identified discrepancies.
• Proven experience operating various types of forklifts, including reach trucks, cherry pickers, and hi-lo's.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
