What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order picker position at JCR Services?
Duties :
- Operate pallet jacks to move and transport materials within a warehouse or distribution center
- Utilize warehouse management system to track and locate inventory
- Build and wrap pallets according to specific guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance on pallet jacks to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
Qualifications :
- Previous experience operating a pallet jack or similar equipment preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and materials handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Valid forklift or cherry picker certification is a plus
