JCS Solutions has a need for a Mobility/Desktop Support Technician to assist the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Intune Mobile Device Management (MDM) to transition DAF mobility users from Blackberry Unified Endpoint Management (BUEM) to MS Intune. In addition, you will provide level 1 & 2 break/fix support, with a focus on mobile device management (MDM) of apple products. You will work directly with multiple work centers in a collaborative manner to make certain resources are available to support deployment of mobile devices. This position is to join our growing team providing support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), and other Air Force activities within the AF National Capital Region (AFNCR) missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB). The specific duties include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
- Support and maintain Department of Air Force (DAF) mobility devices and troubleshooting; walk users through the device set up/activations in Intune and Apple Business Manager
- Technicians are required to be able to work at the Pentagon, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and Joint Base Andrews
- Provide user-level technical support and troubleshooting of mobile devices, including iPhones, iPads, and mobile hot spots
- As a Purebred administrator, you will provision and personalize devices and enable Department of Air Force (DAF) personnel to use DoD PKI credentials on mobile devices
- Develop, organize, and maintain operational procedures and documentation both technical and non-technical; produce or obtain reports on usage and inventory of wireless devices
- Review and consult on existing Intune deployments for best practice deployment standards, consolidation of profiles etc
- Function as a technical liaison and advisor for DAF personnel in mobile device management
- Formulate and maintain knowledge articles for mobile environment
- Provide data entry supporting mobile devices, handle the shipping and receiving of mobile device; wipe and update mobile device; handle wireless carrier engagement and access issue
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must
- SECRET DoD Clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- NOTE: Education and experience requirements may be substituted with:
- An associate’s degree and no experience
- 2 – 4 years of intensive and progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency levels related to task
- IAT II – CompTIA Security CE
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and assignments simultaneously under strict deadlines with minimal direction at times
- Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Experience enrolling MS Intune in mobile devices
- Experience using the DISA Purebred Key Management Portal
- Experience working in either mobility or desktop support in a virtual environment
- Experience working with ITIL systems such as BMC Remedy or ServiceNow
- Working knowledge of the Air Force and/or DoD is a plus
