Key Responsibilities
Facility Operations : Manage and maintain critical utility systems, including HVAC, boilers, chillers, air compressors, purified water systems, and wastewater treatment.
Capital Projects : Lead capital expenditure (CapEx) projects from planning through execution, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to timelines.
Maintenance Oversight : Oversee building and equipment repairs, automated systems, and preventive maintenance programs.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to cGMP standards and manage permits for building operations, boilers, and pest control.
Continuous Improvement : Implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and minimize waste.
Root Cause Analysis : Investigate facility and utility deviations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and operations, to ensure successful project completion.
Required Qualifications
Education :
Required : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related field).
Preferred : Advanced degree in Engineering or a related field.
Experience :
2–6 years of experience with facility and utility systems (HVAC, boilers, chillers) in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing.
Demonstrated experience in project management, especially leading CapEx initiatives.
Familiarity with cGMP and other regulatory compliance standards.
Skills :
Strong technical expertise in utility systems and facility equipment.
Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
Excellent communication, technical writing, and project management capabilities.
