CAD TECHNICIAN
A custom cabinetry and millwork company is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join their growing team. About the Role
As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating and refining detailed CAD drawings that support the production and installation of custom cabinetry and millwork. This role requires a strong understanding of cabinetry construction and drafting principles, as well as proficiency in industry-specific CAD software.
What You’ll Do :
Develop and refine detailed CAD drawings for production and installation.
Create assembly sheets and technical documentation to support manufacturing teams.
Assist in ordering doors, custom moldings, and carvings by collaborating with the purchasing team.
Maintain organized project files and design records within network storage systems.
Review appliance and plumbing lists to ensure compatibility with project specifications.
Process change orders and update designs based on project modifications.
Use company systems such as Innergy, Paycor, and Cabinet Vision to track project details.
What We’re Looking For :
Experience : 2–4 years of CAD drafting experience.
Technical Skills : Demonstrable experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, Revit, or Microvellum). Proficiency in Cabinet Vision is highly desirable.
Industry Knowledge : Aptitude and desire to learn cabinetry / millwork construction methods and material specifications.
Computer Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Soft Skills : Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative mindset.

Compensation & Schedule :
Competitive pay based on experience.
Standard hours : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM–5 : 30 PM, with an early finish at 3 : 00 PM on Fridays.
