Job Overview
">- As a Class C vehicle maintenance technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fleet vehicles to ensure they are in top working order.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on medium- to heavy-duty vehicles.
- Conduct state safety inspections and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Respond to road calls for disabled vehicles, performing minor on-site repairs or arranging towing as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace and complete accurate documentation of work performed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year(s) of experience in heavy-duty vehicle repair (vocational training may substitute).
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues, knowledge of vehicle maintenance and tools, and adherence to safety protocols.
- CDL Class B, DOT Medical Card, PA Inspection License, AC 609 Certification, and ASE certifications.
- Flexibility with shifts, overtime, and emergency response needs.
- Must provide personal hand tools.
