KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER- PERQ MARKETING

About the Role
A marketing technology company are seeking a Business Development-focused Account Manager to accelerate revenue growth by developing and maintaining relationships with newspaper and print media clients. In this role, you’ll focus on breaking into new accounts while nurturing and expanding existing partnerships.
This position is ideal for a hunter-minded sales professional who excels in long sales cycles, consultative selling, and engaging key decision-makers such as publishers, ad directors, and sales executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand client relationships within the newspaper industry.
- Drive new business growth while managing and retaining assigned accounts.
- Engage and influence key decision-makers (publishers, ad directors, sales account executives).
- Demonstrate ROI to clients and implement strategic growth initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with a small, high-performing sales team (currently a team of 4).
- Manage a long sales cycle, ensuring consistent follow-ups and relationship-building.
