Job Description
As a Senior Heavy Duty Vehicle Body Repair Technician, your key responsibilities include:
- Performing advanced diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.
- Executing major body repairs, structural verification, and painting tasks.
- Providing accurate repair cost estimates.
- Training and mentoring junior technicians.
- Utilizing specialized tools and equipment for maintenance tasks.
Ensure the safety and efficiency of our fleet by working diligently to maintain high-quality standards in vehicle maintenance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 years of experience as a body shop technician, with a focus on heavy-duty vehicles (Vocational education may substitute for up to 1 year of experience).
- At least 1 year of maintenance experience on transit vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle body repair, equipment repair cost estimation, and specialized tools.
- The ability to train others in body shop and paint technician tasks.
You must also hold the following certifications:
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class
