Job Overview:
This position involves driving an assigned vehicle to transport passengers safely and professionally. The role requires working variable shifts, irregular hours, and being available for overtime or safety emergency response.
Schedule and Availability:
The daily schedule runs from Monday to Friday between 4 AM and 7:30 PM. This is a safety-sensitive position subject to US DOT Drug and Alcohol testing requirements.
- Operate a vehicle to transport passengers according to the daily manifest schedule.
- Conduct pre-and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
- Adhere to dress code standards and maintain physical condition to fulfill driving duties.
- Review critical incidents and exceptions with Supervisor.
- Participate in regular training and follow SRTA standards.
Compensation and Benefits:
$29 per hour at time of hire, $18.91/hr after 9 months with CDL class A or B, Passenger Endorsement, and Air Brake Restriction listed.
