In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and underwriting contract surety bonds, managing a small team of underwriters, and fostering relationships with agents and brokers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite and manage a portfolio of contract surety bonds, e.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents, brokers, and clients to drive business growth.
- Manage a small team of junior underwriters.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of underwriting guidelines, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5 years of contract surety underwriting experience.
- Experience and connections in the Mid-Atlantic Territory.
- Must be able to work in the Fulton, Maryland office 3 days a week.
