Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with a knack for problem-solving to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. In this role, you will work with large data sets, create dashboards, and maintain technical documentation. You will also play a key role as a data steward for credit risk rating applications, ensuring data integrity and supporting financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the business application owner for credit risk rating tools, including third-party and internally developed systems.
- Establish data controls, conduct profiling, initiate cleansing activities, and generate exception reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance system features and ensure stability through rigorous testing and quality assurance.
- Deliver analytics for model validation, credit stress testing, and risk reporting.
- Develop data strategies to improve data quality and optimize usage within the team.
- Build and maintain business intelligence dashboards and technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, and managing data sets.
- Proficiency in Python (coding and libraries), SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
- Experience with financial systems, ideally with familiarity in risk rating tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with business and technical teams.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for data aggregation and reporting.
