JCW is excited to collaborate with a distinguished global investment management firm in the search for a highly skilled Credit Restructuring and Workout professional. This role is initially designed for an individual contributor, with a clear pathway to evolve into a leadership position managing a dedicated team. The Asset Management Group is committed to portfolio surveillance, enhancing investment returns, and accurate asset valuation.
This role will be hybrid 4 days a week in their Jacksonville office
Key Responsibilities :
Independently oversee bespoke illiquid credit investments, diligently monitoring both financial and business performance.
Perform market research, scrutinize financial statements, and evaluate cash flow and covenant compliance.
Negotiate and finalize amendments, waivers, and legal documents for in- and out-of-court restructurings.
Lead strategies on asset sales, refinancing, and restructuring initiatives.
Communicate effectively with C-suite executives and collaborate with internal teams.
Manage monthly valuations and complex assets while mentoring junior team members.
Work closely with Front Office, Finance, Operations, and Strategic Advisors.
Partner with Managing Directors to enhance the team as the asset base expands.
Essential Qualifications :
Proven experience in managing commercial real estate (CRE) defaulted loans ranging from $15-50M across various stages of default, foreclosure, and bankruptcy.
Strong familiarity with transitional assets that may involve active construction / renovation or stabilization efforts.
