A leading alternative lender is recruiting for multiple Portfolio Managers to join their Healthcare ABL division. This fast-growing firm is able to take on larger and more complex Healthcare ABL deals that require collaboration across this specialist team.
This role is focused on portfolio management for existing accounts. No business development is required. The firm are open to individuals with a strong ABL background who are interested in specializing in healthcare. On-the-job training is very much available.
This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days on site in the Midtown, NYC office. No sponsorship opportunities are available at this time.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor a portfolio of healthcare ABL clients, ensuring compliance with loan agreements and financial covenants.
- Conduct ongoing risk assessments, financial analysis, and collateral evaluations to mitigate credit exposure.
- Collaborate with underwriting and credit analytics teams to assess new lending opportunities and structure financing solutions.
- Maintain strong client relationships, providing financial guidance and identifying opportunities for portfolio growth.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in asset-based lending (ABL) portfolio management, with a focus on healthcare clients.
- Strong understanding of reimbursement structures and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, and loan structuring.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
