As a Staff Accountant, you'll be responsible for supporting the accounting functions within the Surety division, ensuring accurate financial reporting and contributing to the success of a thriving business.
What you'll do:
- Assist with daily accounting operations for the Surety division
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Collaborate with team members to drive efficiency and accuracy
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of accounting experience (insurance or surety experience a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
