The ideal candidate will have a strong credit background with experience underwriting new deals within the commercial & industrial sectors. This bank is well over $10 bil in assets and continue to expand their lending portfolio across the tristate area. The role can operate out of the banks NJ or NYC offices. Responsibilities:
- Will spearhead underwriting and credit risk analyses to support Commercial & Industrial loan requests, focusing on diverse sectors like manufacturers, wholesalers, healthcare, and professional/ business services.
- Work closely with Lending Officers, ensuring timely and accurate financial data.
- Review comprehensive credit risks and mitigations in succinct credit proposals for approval authorities.
- Be actively apart of Credit Committee and other relevant meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of credit related experience within C&I credit or lending.
- Commercial banking experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
