Responsibilities:
- Investigate and analyze referred claims for potential fraud, including background searches, scene investigations, witness interviews, and surveillance.
- Prepare detailed investigative reports summarizing findings and recommended actions while ensuring compliance with fraud-related laws and regulations.
- Utilize analytic tools and data to identify fraudulent claims and support investigations.
- Collaborate with the SIU Manager, external vendors, and business partners on investigative assignments.
- Provide stakeholder training and promote fraud awareness within the claims department.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of analytical/investigative experience in insurance or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred certifications: FCLS, FCLA, CFE, or CIFA.
