I've partnered with a growing regional banking looking to add a skilled C&I Lender to join their team and help expand their footprint across the Grand Rapids Metropolitan area.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a high-performing business banker aiming to transition into the C&I space as a lender or an experienced C&I lender with deep market knowledge. In this role, you will actively engage with the market, building relationships with clients and prospects to drive new business growth within the C&I middle market sector.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new lending opportunities in the middle market segment.
- Build and maintain relationships with businesses, referral sources, and centers of influence.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries with growth potential.
- Manage and deepen relationships with existing clients by understanding their financial needs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on financing options and structuring customized loan products.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as treasury management and investment services, to offer comprehensive financial solutions.
- Utilize the whole state of Michigan to bring on new business.
Preferred Experience:
- 3-4 years exp as a strong producing business banker or commercial lender.
- Strong knowledge of the C&I Middle Market.
- Experience lending C&I loans.
Salary : $145,000 - $200,000
