About the Role
JCW is looking for an accomplished Commercial Credit Manager to lead its credit underwriting team and foster a culture of sound underwriting practices. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Credit Officer and be responsible for managing a team of credit analysts, reviewing credit proposals, and collaborating with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and develop a team of credit analysts to drive commercial lending underwriting processes.
- Examine and structure credit proposals to ensure adherence to bank credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and executive staff to support loan origination and portfolio management.
- Conduct thorough credit risk assessments across various industries and lending structures, offering guidance on complex credit decisions.
- Implement efficient underwriting policies and procedures to enhance risk management.
- Provide regular insights to senior management on credit quality and portfolio performance.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial credit roles within a banking setting.
- A proven track record of leading credit underwriting teams and assessing credit risks.
