What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compliance Officer position at JCW?
JCW is partnering with a local Commercial Bank in the NYC area who is looking to bring on a new Compliance Officer to their team. This position will be focused within the bank's Consumer Compliance function.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the firm's overall Compliance Program.
- Assist with the management of Compliance Testing and Monitoring for consumer protection rules/regulations.
- Advise Senior Management of the bank on relevant Compliance topics including regulatory changes and compliance best practices.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of new Compliance policies and procedures.
- Identifying and escalating potential red flags within the Banks Compliance function.
Qualifications
- 6 years of Consumer Compliance experience.
- Strong knowledge of Consumer Compliance regulations including Reg DD, Reg E, Reg CC, ECOA and RESPA, among others.
- Prior experience working with Regulatory bodies, specifically the FDIC.
- CRCM or JD highly preferred
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
