Job Title: Tax Underwriter

JCW is recruiting on behalf of a global underwriting firm who specializes in tax liabilities and tax credits. They are currently seeking two tax underwriters with 1-4 years of M&A transactions experience, and has a strong interest in the underwriting space. These newly created roles offer a competitive compensation package, ability to work in a collaborative work environment, and the opportunity for career growth. Responsibilities:
- Focus on tax liability and tax credits in the insurance space
- Manage your own book of business and generate revenue as your own entity
- Work with 8 people on the tax liability team
- Report directly to the Head of Tax and work closely with the AVP
- 3 days in office (NYC)
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of of M&A transaction experience
- Hungry, motivated and adaptable personality eager to learn
- Experience coming from big four or consulting firm
- JD strongly preferred
