What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internal Audit QA Specialist position at JCW?
JCW is currently working on behalf of a growing US-based bank that's looking to hire an Internal Audit Quality Assurance Specialist to assist with the department's Audit QA practice. Operating across the Internal Audit team, this QA role will be responsible for reviewing the bank's internal audit process and methodology, and creating policies and procedures for best practice. This position will be hybrid three days a week in Birmingham.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the buildout of the bank's internal audit QA process
- Conduct QA reviews of the bank's internal audit function
- Work directly with stakeholders, providing regular updates to them and leadership
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum 3 years of internal or external audit experience
- Banking audit experience required
