Position Overview :
Our client, a well-known regional bank in the Tri State area, is seeking an experienced SBA Department Manager to oversee portfolio management and 7(a) lending. This role will be responsible for managing a growing SBA department and will play a key role in its long-term development and expansion.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the SBA portfolio, ensuring compliance and performance standards are met.
- Lead and manage the 7(a) lending process, including origination, portfolio management, as well as processing and servicing.
- Supervise and mentor a team of SBA professionals.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the SBA portfolio and expand departmental capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with senior management to drive business development and increase SBA loan volume.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline processes.
