What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Credit Analyst (C&I) position at JCW?
JCW is partnering with an exciting community bank to search for a Senior Credit Analyst to join their team. In this role you will specialize in evaluating credit risks associated with commercial clients, particularly focusing on Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loans, including specialized industries like healthcare and leasing & finance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct thorough due diligence on commercial loan applicants, analyzing business and personal financial statements, tax returns, quality of earnings reports, industry benchmarks, appraisals, and other relevant third-party documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers to gather all necessary information for robust loan underwriting. This includes identifying additional information needs and efficiently coordinating its acquisition.
- Present credit analyses and respond to inquiries during credit request deliberations or loan committee meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of credit analysis, preferably in middle market.
- Formal credit training is strongly preferred.
- Bachelors degree required, master's degree preferred.
