What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Commercial Underwriter (CRE/C&I) position at JCW?

Our client, a regional bank, is hiring three new commercial underwriter positions covering the Texas market. The Sr. Underwriter (7-10 years experience) can be worked hybrid out of either Addison, Fort Worth, or south Austin, TX.
The portfolio, mostly middle-market relationships, spans several Texas regions and consists about 70-75% CRE, with the remainder being mainly C&I. As the portfolio continues to grow, most of the new business is C&I. Candidates must have strong experience underwriting either CRE or C&I, with a preference towards both. Candidates must have had exposure to loans of the size $20M or larger.
The right candidate:
- Must have 7 years of commercial credit experience (CRE and/or C&I)
- Must be able to work 2-3 days per week out of either Addison, Fort Worth, or south Austin.
