What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Data Engineer position at JCW?
JCW has partnered with a data analytics company that offers services to insurance anf financial services. They are currently expanding and their team and are looking to add a Sr. Data Egnineer to their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding and optimizing the data pipeline architecture. Must be an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler with strong experience in handling data at scale.
Qualifications:
- Extensive understanding of SQL.
- Ability to fine tune queries based on various RDBMS performance metrics.
- AWS Technology stack experience. (Design and development)
- Design and develop dat ETL Frameworks.
- Hands-on building data applications using AWS Glue, Lake Formation, Athena, AWS Batch, AWS Lambda, Python, Linux shell & Batch scripting.
- AWS database services (Redshift, RDS, etc.)
