What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President - Restructuring/Workout position at JCW?
JCW has partnered with a global investment management firm looking for a seasoned Credit Restructuring / Workout professional to join the team. This role will begin as an individual contributor but will evolve into a team lead, managing a small team. The Asset Management Group focuses on portfolio surveillance, maximizing investment returns, and asset valuation.
***This role will be hybrid 4 days a week in their Jacksonville office***
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage bespoke illiquid credit investments, monitoring financial and business performance.
- Conduct market research, review financial statements, and assess cash flow and covenant compliance.
- Negotiate and execute amendments, waivers, and legal documents for in- and out-of-court restructurings.
- Lead asset sales, refinancing, and restructuring strategies.
- Communicate effectively with C-suite executives and internal teams.
- Oversee monthly valuations and manage complex assets while mentoring junior team members.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Finance, Operations, and Quaestor Strategic Advisors.
- Prepare presentations covering transaction structure, financial projections, and recommendations.
- Partner with Managing Directors to expand the team as the asset base grows.
Must Haves:
- Recent/ relevant experience in managing CRE defaulted loans ranging in size from $15-50M in varying stages of default, foreclosure, and BK.
- Assets are transitional with either active construction/renovation, or stabilization.
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
