What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP, Technology Risk and Controls position at JCW?

We're helping our client, a financial services institution, fill a newly created VP for Technology Risk. The role joins a fast-growing "1.5-line of business"-style team which partners with 1st-line business leaders to mitigate and control IT risks, as well as liaises with the 2nd-line risk team and auditors/validators.
The position will work two days per week out of Iselin, NJ. Manhattan is also a possibility for a particularly strong candidate who cannot commute to New Jersey.
Candidates must have:
- 5-10 years of experience, centering on technology risk, controls, and audit
- A public accounting/professional services background would be especially attractive
- Superior relationship and communication skills-- the ability to influence business leaders by forming relationships and wielding soft power
