Class A Delivery Driver - Gilroy

Position Summary: Collaborate with our team to offer delivery services to our clients, as well as pick-up services from vendors and other clients. This position is based in the Gilroy area (Local Routes-Remote Driver).

Pay Range: Average annual pay range $65,000 - $85,000 (pay rate is determined by individual skills, years of experience, endorsements, and other relevant factors)

Shift:

• 1st shift, subject to change based on company requirements.
• 5-6 days on, 1-2 days off

Job Description:

• Connect with our customers as the face of our company.
• Deliver food items to clients in a timely and efficient manner.
• Confirms delivered product matches the invoice given to the customer.
• Complete all necessary paperwork related to deliveries and customer purchases/returns.
• Follow all safety regulations and precautions.
• Drive truck in a safe manner at all times
• Ensure that the right products are being loaded in and unloaded from the truck.
• Conduct inspections before and after vehicle use.
• Report maintenance problems to the facilities manager or direct supervisor.
• Perform other related work as required.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements/Environment:

• Be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Requires prolonged sitting or standing.                         
• Must work in hot and cold environments.
• Requires stooping, kneeling, bending and reaching. 
• Must comply with department dress code.
• Must work in noisy and crowded environments.       
• Must work in and around fumes and odors.
• Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.

Territory: Gilroy, Santa Cruz, Salinas, Hollister, Watsonville, Carmel/Monterrey, San Jose, Los Gatos, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, King City, Soledad

Qualifications:

• Class A Driver’s License                                                             
• Drug/Alcohol free
• Ability to lift heavy boxes                                                        
• Ability to work in all types of weather.
• Availability to work long hours when needed.                
• Acceptable driving record (Must be approved by insurance)
