Description
Job Focus: Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on all production machinery.
Shifts: Variable, depending on production and company needs.
Overtime: As necessary.
Description of Work Place:
The work for this position takes place in production facilities and warehouse. The production rooms are equipped with a refrigeration system that sustains the temperature at 35°-45° F. The room is also equipped with long tables used for processing meat products; machinery used to grind meat; warehouse machinery and conveyor belts to transport boxes. The room is well-lit and has a level concrete floor that at times can be wet. The production room is also equipped with a loading dock and heavy-duty rack shelving to house product.
Description of Job tasks:
- Maintain inventory on backup parts
- Implement and lead lockout/tagout procedure
- Maintain organization of work area
- Maintain and lead safe standards company wide
- Adhere to all GMPs and safety protocol
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Weld and fabricate as necessary
Physical Requirements/Environment:
- Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials
- Requires prolonged standing during work hours
- Requires stooping, kneeling, bending and reaching
- Must work in noisy and crowded environments
- Must work in and around fumes and odors
Safety Clothing/Equipment:
- Must comply with company dress code
- Layered clothing is advised
- Company Provided: helmet, smock, gloves, hair and beard net
- Non-slip shoes or boots

Qualifications for Job:
- Completed application
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug test
- Availability to work long hours and weekends
- Basic math
- Ability to lift 80 lbs.
- Ability to repair/rebuild machines
