Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations, schedule workflow & coordinate shipping & receiving in our shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of skilled workers, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards, schedule daily workflow & handle all shipping & receiving. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to multi-task, a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to manage staff and schedules effectively.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of shop personnel to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
- Develop project schedules and manage resources effectively to meet deadlines.
- Utilize ERP management systems for project tracking and reporting.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to maintain safety standards and quality control.
- Handle all shipping & receiving processes including maintaing records & loading & unloading of trucks with a forkilft.
- Collaborate with managers to align shop operations with overall project goals.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment is necessary.
- Familiarity with measuring devices such as calipers, as well as proficiency in software like Job Boss.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, including project scheduling and shipping & receiving.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively.
- Operating forklifts, loading & unloading trucks.
- Receiving & inspecting incomming shipments.
- Inventory control.
- Maintaining records of all incomming & outgoing shipments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
