After-School Nanny Needed – Mendham, NJ
Start Date: Flexible (ASAP Preferred)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM ( One Date Night Per Week as Agreed)
Compensation: $25 to $30 per hour Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays & Paid Personal Days
Workweek: 4 Days (Fridays Off!)

A warm and welcoming family in Mendham, NJ, is seeking an active, organized, and reliable after-school nanny to care for their two school-aged children. The family values structure, engagement, and a nurturing approach to childcare.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with after-school routines, including school pickup and activity drop-offs/pickups
- Provide homework help, particularly in math organization and study habits
- Engage children in interactive and age-appropriate activities
- Prepare snacks and assist with light meal prep
- Help keep play areas, school supplies, and backpacks organized
- Provide general supervision and ensure a safe, structured environment
- Offer flexibility for later evenings on Thursdays as needed
Requirements:
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle for school and activity transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong organizational and homework assistance skills
- Ability to establish routines while fostering independence
- Pet-friendly (the family has a friendly indoor cat)
