A sweet Churchville family is excited to welcome a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their infant son. They’re looking for someone who is reliable, loving, and knowledgeable in infant care—someone who can grow with their family and be an active part of their little one’s early development.
About the Position:
This role focuses on the care of an adorable baby boy who will be around 3 months old at the start of the position. He is formula-fed, takes several naps a day, and is a generally happy little guy with no known allergies or health concerns. The nanny will be responsible for managing his daily routines, including feeding, naps, diapering, and playtime that supports his developmental milestones.
The family also has a gentle dog named Archie. While he’s great with the baby, there are no pet care responsibilities—he has a dedicated dog walker.
Mom works from home three days a week and is in the office the other two, so the nanny should be comfortable with a parent occasionally present. Flexibility is appreciated but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing attentive, full-time care to the infant
- Supporting a consistent feeding and sleep schedule
- Engaging in age-appropriate play and tummy time
- Washing bottles and handling bottle sterilization
- Managing the baby’s laundry
- Maintaining a tidy and organized nursery and play space
The Ideal Nanny Will Be:
- Experienced with newborns and infants
- Calm, patient, and loving
- Organized and dependable
- Attentive to detail and proactive in care
- Confident working independently and collaboratively with parents
- Comfortable with a family dog (no care required)
Desired Skills:
- Infant CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Strong communication and time management
- Familiarity with infant sleep, feeding, and developmental milestones
- Ability to maintain a structured routine with flexibility when needed
- Experience supporting families during the transition back to work
This is a truly special opportunity to join a warm and welcoming household and make a lasting impact during such an important stage of a child’s life. The family is excited to find a nanny who will feel like part of the team.
