Job Title: Account Executive – Solar & Lighting Solutions
Location: Pennsylvania (Remote with regional travel)
Position Summary:
Our Client are seeking a driven and experienced Account Executive to join their growing team in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record selling solar or lighting solutions and experience working with K-12 schools, government entities, and/or commercial & industrial clients. This role is responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar or lighting markets within the K-12, public sector, and C&I spaces.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including school administrators, facility managers, procurement officers, and C-suite executives.
- Conduct client needs assessments and present tailored energy solutions.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to deliver seamless project execution.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, incentives, utility programs, and local/state regulations affecting renewable energy and lighting markets.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of B2B sales experience, with a focus on solar energy systems, LED lighting retrofits, or related energy solutions.
- Proven success selling into at least one of the following sectors: K-12 education, public/government, or commercial/industrial.
- Strong consultative sales and communication skills.
- Ability to travel throughout Pennsylvania for client meetings and site visits.
- Self-starter with a hunter mentality and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with energy savings performance contracts (ESPCs), PPAs, or utility rebate programs is a plus.
Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
