CFD Engineer - Mission Critical
Role: Hybrid (NYC/ DC/ NC)
We’re seeking a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer to lead the design and development of CFD models for high-performance, mission-critical facilities. In this role, you’ll serve as a technical lead, guiding projects from concept through construction while tailoring solutions to budget, client goals, and evolving design requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end CFD analysis process—from initial concept through design completion—aligned with project objectives.
- Develop, adapt, and manage CFD models based on design constraints, client input, and technical considerations.
- Deliver analysis and detailed reports on time and within budget, coordinating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Apply deep understanding of CFD tools, methodologies, and industry standards to complex and high-impact projects.
- Identify and implement innovative design solutions to meet unique project challenges.
- Prepare and present technical reports and findings to clients, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
- Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy through adherence to QA/QC processes.
- Facilitate smooth cross-functional communication with other engineering disciplines.
- Review design documentation to identify CFD modeling requirements and data needs.
- Advise on key modeling timelines, data exchange protocols, and milestone deadlines.
- Perform wind speed assessments and weather-related probability analyses to inform design decisions.
- Champion client satisfaction and ensure project expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
