Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer
Location: Hoboken, NJ OR Evanston, IL
I'm working with an award-winning energy consulting firm who's just celebrated their 50th year in business, that provides full-service MEP with a sustainability mission. We're looking a talented Sr. Electrical Engineer to hit the ground running on several projects within the medical, health, higher education space.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience.
- Must be a Degreed Electrical Engineer.
- Experience in identifying energy efficiency measures and savings.
- Experience with medium/high voltage power systems
Responsibilities:
- Perform computer drafting, including components of plan views, sections, one-line diagrams, elevations, details, schedules, etc.
- Develop a working knowledge of technical specifications, the design-bid-build, design-bid, design-assist, Division 1 documents, etc.
- Perform calculations understanding the necessary lighting levels, fixture selection, lumen package selection, emergency lighting design, reflectance, and calculation planes.
- Operate as a team player, developing positive work relationships and contributing to the group’s efforts to achieve goals.
