Stockroom Associate

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent customer service skills, and a strong interest in technology and retail products.

Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, inquiries, and purchases
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Process transactions accurately using cash registers and credit card machines
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and monitoring inventory levels
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge to effectively communicate product specifications and benefits to customers

Requirements:

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
- Knowledge of technology sales, including appliances and technical products
- Ability to handle cash transactions with precision
- Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels and store presentation
- Proven track record in sales or a willingness to learn sales techniques

Physical Demands:

• Requires standing approximately 5 – 8 hours per day usually 3 – 5 days per week.
• During peak sale periods (e.g. Holiday, Back-to-School), will work for long periods throughout a 1 – 12 hour day.
• Requires stooping and kneeling to place merchandise on customer’s feet as well as reaching and pulling to obtain or stock merchandise on storage racks.
• May be required to climb ladder or ascend/descend stairs in order to stock and/or acquire merchandise for sale.
• Required to lift items weighing 5 – 25 lbs regularly. In certain circumstances, weights may be higher.
