Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing and reservations.
- Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Handle phone calls using appropriate phone etiquette, addressing guest needs promptly.
- Maintain the front desk area in a neat and organized manner.
- Assist with night audit procedures as required, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Process reservations and cancellations while maintaining accurate records in the hotel management system.
- Provide support for special requests or issues that arise during a guest's stay.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple calls efficiently.
- Excellent phone etiquette to communicate effectively with guests over the phone.
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is a plus.
