Job Overview :
We are now hiring an experienced and bi-lingual Production Manager to lead our fast-paced food production environment. This critical role will oversee production teams, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with food safety standards. The successful candidate will have a background in food production, possess a food safety handling certificate, and have supervised large teams in a food manufacturing or operations environment. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing our food production and packaging processes, including operating and supervising food production and packaging machines. You'll spend 50% of your time on the production floor supervising the assembly line and the other 50% on administrative tasks such as project management to maximize efficiency and output.
Duties :
- Production Oversight : Supervise production staff on the floor, operating and overseeing assembly line machinery, including food packaging machines like stick pack, sachet, labeling, and bottling machines.
- Overseeing the food production and packaging processes, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Cross-functional Leadership : Manage multiple production teams to ensure that each team supports the workflow and production requirements of the next, maintaining a seamless production process.
- Quality Control and Compliance : Ensure all production batches comply with quality standards and food safety regulations, collaborating closely with the FSQ team to oversee SQF audits and certifications.
- Scheduling and Efficiency Management : Develop and manage production schedules, monitor team performance, and optimize workflows to meet production targets.
- Administrative Coordination : Oversee project queues within the department, organizing production projects for optimal efficiency and output.
- Ensuring workplace safety and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Conducting regular SQF audits and maintaining certifications.
- Working closely with the FSQ department to ensure compliance during food production, packaging, and distribution.
- Setting up project management workflows to maximize efficiency and production output.
- Providing hands-on leadership and problem-solving on the production floor.
- Training and developing team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
