What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer position at JDM Services?
We are looking for a General Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks on our paving crew. The ideal candidate should have experience in paving and be able to work both independently with minimal supervision and with a full crew. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and safety conscious.
Responsibilities:
- General laborer duties associated with asphalt paving, patching or prep crews.
- Required ability to shovel, rake and handle other small tools.
- Assist in placement and dismantling of barricades, signs, cones and other traffic control devices
- Clean up job sites and dispose of debris.
- Work with other laborers to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Understand and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Ability to follow directions and assist where needed
