Janitorial Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Shift

Monday through Friday (saturdays as needed), 2pm - 10pm

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
• Conduct thorough custodial duties in admin and factory setting.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests and maintain communication with management regarding supplies and equipment needs.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
• Support industrial cleaning efforts in designated areas as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and order in all assigned areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
