Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Slitter Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating slitting machines to cut materials into specified widths and lengths while ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment.
Duties
- Operate slitting machines to cut materials according to specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Assemble and package finished products for shipment.
- Utilize hand tools and forklifts safely and effectively within the warehouse setting.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in operating and maintaining slitting machines.
- Familiarity with logic controllers for machine operation.
- Experience with hand tools for assembly and maintenance tasks.
