JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) combines Mission Critical, Advanced Industries, and Industrial & Manufacturing into one high-performing team focused on cutting-edge work to serve innovative clients on large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. As part of the Advanced Facilities team, you'll work on some of the most advanced construction projects across the country, growing your career alongside our diverse team of industry professionals.
The Receptionist will provide routine reception and clerical support. This position will be responsible for answering phones, greeting visitors, and performing administrative support tasks. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.
RECEPTIONIST – CORE
- Operates telephone switchboard to answer, screen, and forward calls internally as appropriate.
- Greets visitors, determines nature and purpose of visit, notifies employees of visitors, and directs or escorts visitors to specific destinations.
- Performs routine administrative support tasks for a variety of internal functions dependent upon the work program business needs, such as filing, printing, collating, mailing, distributing mail and documents, supporting and maintaining the office, etc.
- Provides routine information about the company as requested and helps resolve routine questions and complaints from customers and the general public.
- Schedules appointments, updates calendars, and serves as primary contact for conference room reservations.
- Helps train new or backup receptionists on front-desk best practice standards and processes.
- Provides support for meeting and event planning.
- Supports new employee equipment setup, dependent upon work program business needs.
- Demonstrates commitment to the highest standards of customer satisfaction by displaying courtesy and sensitivity and responding promptly to customer needs.
- Manages difficult or emotional customer situations promptly and efficiently.
- Meets client commitments, recognizes and acts upon service opportunities.
- Solicits and applies feedback to improve quality and service.
- Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.
- Communication skills, verbal and written.
- Organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally.
- In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
