Used Auto Parts Sales / Online Sales

JE Import, Baltimore's leading shop for high-performance automotive modifications and general repair, is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Used Auto Parts Specialist. This role focuses on researching, preparing, and listing primarily used auto parts for sale online. Depending on experience, this role may also include the disassembly of parts vehicles and engines. We maintain a large and constantly growing inventory of used parts, engines, and parts vehicles.

$15 - $30 hourly

• Publish parts listings online: Create and manage listings for used and new automotive parts on various online platforms (eBay, Facebook Marketplace, etc.), including writing compelling descriptions, taking high-quality photos, and setting competitive prices.
• Disassemble, clean, and prepare used automotive parts for sale: Disassemble parts of vehicles and engines, clean and inspect parts, and prepare them for sale, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Research market value of automotive parts and vehicles: Research current market prices for used and new parts and vehicles to ensure competitive pricing and maximize profitability.
• Package and ship product orders: Efficiently package and ship sold parts, ensuring timely and safe delivery, and managing shipping logistics.
• Assist with answering phones and greeting customers: Provide excellent customer service by answering phone calls, greeting walk-in customers, and assisting with parts inquiries.

• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Experience with online sales platforms (eBay, Facebook Marketplace, etc.) and online marketing techniques.
• Ability to take high-quality photographs of parts.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Experience with dismantling vehicles and engines is a plus.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
