POSITION SUMMARY
The Minibar Attendant is responsible for maintaining and replenishing minibars in guest rooms, ensuring accuracy in billing, and providing exceptional service to our guests.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stock the supply cart with all necessary items, ensuring all products are labeled and unexpired.
- Organize and put away any delivered minibar items.
- Gather minibar maps, vacant list, check-out list, and occupied list daily.
- Prioritize checking rooms based on the lists provided, starting with priority and vacant rooms.
- Ensure all checks are closed out to the appropriate rooms and folios daily.
- Maintain accuracy of the Minibar Logs.
- Stock the minibar cart and start room checks from the top floor.
- Replenish minibar items, remove expired or extra items, and take photos of the refreshed minibar.
- Engage with guests politely and professionally, ensuring their needs are met.
- Assist the Manager with daily and weekly inventory.
- Ensure consistent communication with staff and management.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Department of Health (DOH) standards and ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards.
- Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and appearance.
- Follow directions and maintain good working relationships with supervisors and managers.
- Utilize the computer system and read all orders.
- Ensure a clean, neat, and organized work area.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of related experience in a high-volume, fine-dining hotel is desirable.

- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
- Climbing steps regularly.
COMPENSATION
The base pay range for this position is $20 - $22 per hr. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, etc.
