Job Title Tableau Developer Business Analyst Location New York, NY

Responsibilities:
Design and Develop data dashboards using Tableau, Tableau Prep, and other supporting tools.
Gathering and documenting business requirements
Developing project artifacts, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), test plans, and user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios
Managing day-to-day project responsibilities, including setting milestones, managing tasks and actions, and coordinating and executing plans within required timelines and stakeholder expectations
Providing implementation and post-implementation project support
Fostering and maintaining relationships with business stakeholders, support, testing, and development team members
Identifying and managing project risks
Operating with a limited level of direct supervision and exercising independence of judgment and autonomy
Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and other team members
Assessing risk when making business decisions and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
Adhering to ethical standards and safeguarding the company's reputation and assets.
Qualifications:
5 years of experience in developing dashboards using Tableau
6-10 years of experience
Highly organized, motivated, and a self-starter
Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks
Ability to work well under pressure
Desire to improve processes
Advanced working knowledge in the Equities IT space and exposure to Cash Prime Brokerage flows
Track record as a Business Analyst within the Financial Services/Investment Banking industry
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to facilitate discussions
Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts and requirements
Experience working with Agile Methodologies and Tools
Team player and relationship management skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
Ability to learn and understand some technical implications of system design
Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process, and seek out answers
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project.
